What branch of the armed forces should i join?

I'm trying to figure out what branch of the armed forces i want to join. I want to be a soldier in action. Not to be cheesy, but I want to be like the guys in the movies. I want to be on the ground, and fight for my country. Not in a tank or anything, and i dont want to sit around and guard bases. I want to attack on foot.





Can you tell me what branch would best fit my description?|||Either Army or Marines.





Army offers a guaranteed MOS, and it doesn't take a whole lot to get guaranteed for infantry.





Marines offer a guaranteed FIELD, but not MOS. You could get guaranteed Combat, but you may be put in any number of combat roles.|||army you get to pick your job and where you want to go , marines put u where ever they want u|||Well you can always join the army as 11x then goto ranger school. You can also go 19D cavalry scout, you can still goto ranger school as a 19D.|||army: you sound like your interested in Infantry, cavalry scout, cannon crew member, field artillery, and any other combat mos.
