How could the power of the legislative branch be further limited?

We all know there are checks and balances, but we also know that sometimes they don't work as well as they should. Some would argue that the legislative branch has too much power. How could the power of the legislative branch be further limited?|||The only alternative is to give the executive branch more power. That may be fine to allow the President to exercise power arbirarily when his politics agree with you, but someday another party will gain the preidency.





Remember, any new powers you give to a president Obama, will also be exercised by the next president Bush or Reagen.
