What branch of the military should i join?

I'm a 17 yo girl and I have one more year of high school untill i graduate. I am physically fit and meet the basic standards for all branches. I will also be training for the military for the next year or two.

I was just wondering what branch you would reccomend, and why?|||You're still pretty young. I would advise going into college for a while to earn some credits so that when you enlist or join ROTC you'll start at a higher rank. If you enlist with a lot of credits amd become an honor recruit, you'll most likely start as a Specialist. If you finish college and then do ROTC, you'll be a First Lieutenant instead of a Second Lieutenant.

Anyways, what branch you join really depends on what kind of person you are. If you prefer to stay overseas for quite a while, don't mind water, and like swimming, then the Navy is a good choice. If you're a person who'd rather be in the air and have dormitories that are much better than any other branch, Air Force. If you want to fight, and I mean a lot, and have a total personality change, join the Marine Corps. If you still want to fight, but not as intense as the Marines, the Army. And lastly, if you like swimming and want to stay home more often, join the Coast Guard.|||What field are you looking for ...that my question not all Branches have the same to offer

and So think what you want to do for next 6yr and if you decided not to stay what will you do and if the training you get will help you..Am not saying do not join but i suggest you think this over its a big step in your starting life that can affect you in the future oh BTW ever thought of Military Academy. how's your GPA you might consider this an another Option ...|||If you enjoy being respected and not being stuck in the desert or on a ship, the air force is probably your best bet. They treat their enlisted men and woman awesome and there standard of living is outstanding. From what ive heard you will rarely have to share a room with anyone. In the marines we share rooms with two other people. so three man room the size of a small storage unit. Talk to a recruiter and make sure you dont sign anything over 4 years no matter what branch you decide to pick. 4 years is long enough especially if you find you dont like the service at all. Good luck!|||I was in the Air Force from 93-97 and loved every minute of it. Only family issues kept me from reenlisting. I have always thought that the Navy and Air Force take better care of their people than the other branches. By that, I mean having your own bed to sleep in and not some hard ground in a tent somewhere. Not sure how much it has changed since then, but that is my two cents. Good luck!|||the Army is the only branch that lets you pick your actual job, instead of a job category. and whatever job you pick, that will be the job you will be doing when you finish basic training and your AIT. The Army is also the largest branch.|||Don't go Into the army, Air force or Navy would be the best and it really depends on what you would like to do.

Air Force is good cuz every men and women in the military must do time serving over seas and air force is only 6 months just like the marines. Army is up to 15 months,|||Im going to the Marine Corps. Depends on your job, Im going infantry so I want to work and become a member of the best.
