I don't want anyone to put down the military. Im just having trouble deciding which branch to join.|||Why does this question keep coming up over and over again? Go to the different recruiters and ask them a ton of questions to find out which service is right for you. There is no "better" when it comes to certain aspects.
Is the Corps the best overall fighting force? Yes, but there are plenty of Soldiers, Airmen and Sailors who are up to and above Marine Corps standards. Additionally there are Marines who have no business being in any branch of the Military. It all comes down to what YOU want!
Some people get way to sensitive when it comes to their own service. Lets keep in mind, when it comes to the number deployed to Afghan (which is the important part of the war on terror) the Army has had a .38% fatality rate, while the Corps has only had a .25% fatality rate. Both of these are low, but when it comes to over all efficency the Corps leads the pack. We could spend days going over the different campaigns that either the Army or Marines have engaged in or who was deployed first in each one. Inevitably we work together and we are a part of the same Department of Defense. I have several lists and quotes from Army generals who have commended the Marine Corps on their actions, but it doesn't really matter, just make the choice that is right for you! Good luck!
I have to agree with the Airman when it comes to the women, they do have the hotter girls. Although, they usually hook up with Marines. (haha, jk).

The Army has units capable of deploying anywhere in the world within 18hrs. The Army has regular NON Special Ops units WITHIN SOCOM(10th Mountain and 82nd). The Army has performed the largest amphibious assault in HISTORY. The Marine Corps was getting THRASHED in Iraq due to being ill-equipped. They took way more casualties than the Army while traveling parrallel to the Army on the other side of the Euphrates on their assault into Baghdad. Then you have them needing the Armys help to retake fallujah... then you have their Special Ops unit(MARSOC) getting KICKED OUT of Afghanistan by the Army on it's FIRST DEPLOYMENT... Seriously... stop buying into the BS propaganda.|||AF, we have hotter women....where's a Marine to agree with me.
Seriously, it all depends on what you want to do. The military can be a unique and fruitful experience but you gotta be able wake up ever morning and have passion in what you are doing.|||It all depends on you! If you want to see the world join the navy if you want to work and learn about aircraft join the air force if you and to kill some thing join the marines and if you want to do all that in one join the ARMY|||in my opinion the air force is the best. it is the most relaxed, the best government funded therefor they have the best bases and you could be a fighter pilot!|||dont become a child killer
