A branch of my grape tree broke the other day and i was wondering if i put the branch in water or soil will it grow back?|||The answer is no. A branch will not grow if it doesn't have any roots. The grape tree will eventually grow if you water it and give it fertilizer once a month.|||if a grape vine is long enough you can root it, I think it needs at least three sections to survive
at this point what have you got to lose, it's already broken? If it roots you have a new start and if it doesn't you've still got a piece of grapevine!|||I had luck if I placed it in the ground next to the tree it broke off from. It would get its nutrients from the mother tree and would regrow...
Never heard if you put it in water that it would re-root..|||Try a clear container of water. Remove any foliage from the bottom, leaves will rot in water. You should see roots in about 2 weeks.
