For at least the 491,716,000th time on these forums........THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS A "BEST" BRANCH!!|||Depends on what you are interested in.

Army- Deployment can vary depending on unit serving in. Various jobs. You can be an infantry soldier, pilot, doctor, and many more.

Navy- Frequent and long deployments even during times of peace. The Navy is always deployed because they are the branch that creates a U.S. prescence around the world. There are also many jobs in the Navy.

Marines- The Marines are like the Navy's foot soldiers, they are on the Navy's pay roll and are a part of the Department of the Navy. They are deployed more than the Army but less than the actual Navy. Most jobs have to do with infantry.

Air Force- The Air Force is very seldom moved or deployed. They have alot to do with intelligence and aircraft.|||There is not a bad branch of the military to go into, all have good and bad aspects of them, but it really depends on what you want to get out of your service in the military. You have MOSs that you need to consider, meaning what job you want to do in the military. You will get your ones saying fly Navy or go Army those that will say the Corps is the only way to go or that the Air Force is for those who don't want to see combat. Truth be told, each branch has its strength and weaknesses. Just when researching which branch to go into, really look and see what you want to do in the military. Good luck!|||Depends on what you want to do and which branch has the most to offer when you enlist. With the Army and Marines, youll probably see combat in your carreer. With Navy/Air Force, depending on your job, youll probably not see combat, but still get worked like a dog. Not sure about the coast guard, they do their own thing.|||Despite what the other poster said, the Army is deployed the most AND they last the longest. If you want to make the biggest impact, join the Army.|||FLY NAVY

That sums it up nicely, now for my cigar and port...
