Why is the legislative branch the most important branch?

I know that all three branches are equal, but I need to write outline for my history essay saying how the legistlative branch is the most important. Could you give me a couple points about how its the most important (from the Constitution) ? I already know that it can override a president's veto, it has impeachment power, and makes laws.|||they write the laws

Executive enforces the laws %26amp;

Judicial interprets them

so, if there were no legislative branch, there would be no laws to be enforced or interpreted|||It sucks all the money out of your pocket and spends it.
