What branch of the military has the best training for military police recruits?

Maybe more importantly, which branch (if you were an MP) looks the best on your resume when seeking out a law enforcement job in the civilian world?|||I was an MP in the US Marines for 6 years, and believe it or not, the schooling that all MP's get to is basically the same, so matter what branch of service. You get the same instruction on the Uniform Code of Military Justice, which is the military law. The Marines and army guys go to Ft Leonardwood for training. The Air Force guys go to some place in Texas, and I don't know where the Navy goes. For your application/interview, any military experience with good discharge papers is a plus. How you look on paper is a great starter, but you will be put to the test in the interview. Military discipline and professionalism is something the brass definitely like to see, and it will make you stand out among the other prospects.|||i am nypd , it doesn't matter, they just look at that you have no criminal record and things like that. any military background they love because of the discipline. so just join the branch you like the best. i would go for hmm ARMY.haaa|||actually, infantry is looked at more than MP's are

mp goes to a law enforcement and so does a infantry guy same time,

they will pick infantry hands down.

thats what i;ve been told. dunno 100% tho
