Which branch is easier to become a fighter pilot?

i heard that the navy has way more aircraft than the air force, including fighters. That being said, the navy is the only branch which guarantees a flight slot. i want to now if that is true and if i have a better chance in the navy to be a pilot.|||There are simply NO guarantees that you'll be a "fighter pilot". So many do well on the ground school, then barff when they go up the first time and do a nose over.

Don't count your chickens before they barff.....|||The Navy has more tactical combat aircraft than the air force, but the air force has a lot of non-combat aircraft (cargo, aerial refueling). But to get to your question, the answer is none of the armed forces is going to be easy to get into as a fighter pilot. You need to have impeccable moral character, be in top physical condition, possess leadership capabilites, and have a 4 year college degree in a technical or scientific field, with a high grade point average. If you have all of these things, you MIGHT have a shot at getting into an officer training program. The reality is that flight slots are extremely limited and competition for them is very high. Don't let that stop you from trying though. Just be prepared for a very long and tough process. The vast majority of people that want to fly fighters never realize that dream. Good luck though.|||Your best option is to try the air force. Usually with the Navy you have to serve some time aboard a ship/submarine before you can do you flight qualls. you'll probably start off on rotary wing aircraft (think cargo etc), but can train to become a fighter pilot.

good luck

Mac.|||Most likely the Navy|||Why would you want to become a soldier?
