How does the Judicial Branch of government affect our society?

I have to write a paper about the Judicial Branch of government and i have to answer the following questions;

-How does the Judicial Branch of government affect American society?

-How do the three branches interact with each other?

-What does the Judicial Branch consist of?

-Who is in the Judicial Branch of government?

-How does the Judicial Branch of government operate?|||The Judicial branch are the courts including the Supreme Court.

Supreme Court consists of 9 Justices. They only deal with constitutional law, that is, determining if laws passed by congress are constitutional. They only hear cases which are brought to them. 5 or more of the 9, must agree to hear the case. The constitution is not open for our interpretation. It is only open to the interpretation as the court rules.

Again, the Judicial branch interacts with the executive (President and cabinets) and legislative (Congress-House and Senate) by determining if new laws, actions they take, are allowable under the constitution.

The Judical branch affects American society, mainly in that they hear and rule on social issues such as abortion, gun rights, eminent domain, personal privacy, individual and states rights.|||These answers suck!! does the judiciary branch INTERPRET the laws?

Report Abuse

|||- The Judicial Branch of the government puts a huge burden on American society. This branch makes the laws, and passes federal laws. Without this branch, no laws would be in place.

- The three branches are all part of the government, and they all have equal power, hence, interacting with each other.

- The Judaical Branch consist of the Supreme Court.

- The Supreme Court are in the Judaical Branch.|||The Judicial Branch of the Federal government is the Supreme Court of the United States and the various Federal District courts. The decide pretty much what is Constitutional and what is not. The Judiciary interprets law. The Legislature makes law. The Executive branch signs laws or rejects them.
